Queen elizabeth the II is dead
Laying on my bed and scrolling through my social media platforms, a news popup from one of these browsers flashed my phone with a headline stating Queen Elizabeth is dead.
I didn’t believe it at first because I thought it was one of those rumours these sites carry to boost traffic and clicks. So I didn’t take it seriously.
Going through my LinkedIn page I saw the news again, this time with a poster stating her age. That was when it dawned on me that truly this is no fake news, she actually is dead.
A split second passed as I began to ponder about life, how fickle it is. Today you are vibrant and full of life, tommorow you’re no more; unreachable, unavailable, just gone.
Life!
When we die we become only but memories, memories that fades faster than the time they were created.
Death is a leveler!
No matter the position you held while on earth, or the family you came from, or the riches you owned. When your time comes you become dust. I mean the same type of dust a commoner would become
There are no categories of dust, your riches doesn’t afford you royal dust. It’s just dust!…that, we all will become one day.
Today should serve as a gentle reminder to us all, to think about the journey to the afterlife, where we are headed, heaven or hell.

I’m not saying this to scare you, but the truth is we will die someday and the earlier we start becoming intentional about how we live our lives the better for us.
An invisible camera somewhere was assigned to us the moment we were born. Recording every single moment. The hidden thoughts and secrets, lifestyles, character and when your time is up, that video will be replayed for you.
What is it gonna be? What would be the content of that video? Will it be rated PG or +18? Or Will it be an example worthy of emulation.
Sometimes I wonder if another bible will be written, I think about it and believe another may be written or at least a new update for the already written one because, there are still untold stories lived by most of us that needs to be heard by the next generation.
They need to know and be inspired that a generation not so far from theirs made it to the holy book.
My heart goes out to the royal family at this trying time, already seeing comments like “she was a good woman" “she wasn’t good at all" some are saying “go back to history and you would see she isn’t as good as the world paints her to be" .

These are surfacing just few hours after she was pronounced dead.
This life!
We can never know until we embark on the journey of no return. Right now it is between her and her creator.
So instead of saying awful things about a dead person, redirect that energy and use it to live consciously henceforth.
